Advancing healthcare through extended reality (XR) and interactive technologies
The Health Immersive Interaction (HII) Lab investigates how extended reality (XR) and interactive technologies can enhance healthcare experiences, improve medical training, and support patient care.
Located at the Baludarri Incubation and Innovation Maker Space (BIIMS) within the Westmead Health Precinct, the lab is a space for interdisciplinary collaboration, where clinicians, patients, engineers, designers, and healthcare professionals work together to develop and evaluate new health technologies.
We aim to create human-centred design, immersive, and intelligent solutions that improve clinical workflows, enhance patient care, and shape the future of digital health.
